Orthophos® XG 3D
Optimized for Daily Practice Tasks
Increased DiagnosticsEfficient work flow from Endontic procedures to orthodontics and optional implant placement
High-Def ImagesArtifact reduced images with ASTRA for sharper, high-quality images with better contrast
Ease of OperationPrecise positioning and comfortable patient stabilization allows for more ease of operation
Precisely tailored to the everyday routines of general practices, the ORTHOPHOS XG 3D is a hybrid unit, providing the clinical workflow advantages of 2D and 3D together while emitting the lowest possible effective dose for the patient. Endodontists will enjoy the ability to instantly view digital images required for endodontic procedures, combined with the crisp, well-defined 3D volumetric images for revealing canal shapes and anatomies, as well as precise measurements for canal depths, widths and apicoectomy procedures. The ORTHOPHOS XG 3D offers efficient, clinical workflow with easy operation and precise patient positioning. It can also be upgraded to include implant software.
What does the bone structure look like? How great is the distance to the nerve canal? In all dental disciplines, there are numerous questions that can be answered far more easily using 3D imaging. The third dimension increases clinical safety and your patients’ trust. 3D from Sirona also helps you, as a general dentist, to gain the necessary confidence to do implants yourself. You will expand your range of services, enhance patient loyalty to your practice, and referrals will become redundant.
Striking image quality in 2D and 3D
The High-Definition mode and MARS (Metal Artifact Reduction Software) provide brilliant 3D images which in the small endo volume can also be reconstructed with a high resolution of 100 µm, while ASTRA (Anatomically Structured Reconstruction Algorithm) provides uniform, impressive results for panoramic and ceph scans.
Regardless of whether in a panoramic scan or 3D volume, with ORTHOPHOS XG 3D you will see more and save time on diagnostics.
2 APPOINTMENT TREATMENTS
As an optional upgrade, the new SICAT OPTIGUIDE method for preparing surgical guides, integrated implantology is now even easier. In the past, the dentist had to take a conventional impression in the first session in addition to a CBCT and CEREC scan as the basis for creating an x-ray and surgical guide. The SICAT OPTIGUIDE simplifies and accelerates the process, requiring only a CBCT scan and an optical impression with the CEREC AC.
HD or Standard Mode
Integrated Auto Positioner
Quadrant Selection The ORTHOPHOS XG 3D allows the operator to image the region of interest as prescribed by the dentist without exposing the patient to unnecessary radiation.
Jaw shape selection Easily adjust the focal trough to follow different jaw shapes, truly customizing the image for each individual patient.
Automatic sensor rotation Switching between 2D and 3D modes does not require a manual sensor change—just select the scan mode and the image is ready to be taken.
Lateral ceph collimation Collimate both the width and height of the lateral ceph image, ensuring a precise focus upon the area of interest only.
Built-in ceph programs Simplified operation: just press a single button to select from among 4 built-in programs: Posterior/Anterior; Anterior/Posterior; Lateral Ceph; and Carpus.
Multiple scan regions ORTHOPHOS XG 3D offers the ability to scan only the area of interest, and with a field-of-view that can be collimated further to reduce the effective dose to the patient.
